Project Background
While surfing the internet one evening, was contacted by another Van Note. After some conversations, IMs, e-mails, back and forth, was invited to attend a reunion that had been held annually since 1916. Like my research, theirs, too, has dead-ended in New Jersey - mine ca 1772, theirs ca 1796. With the belief that we are related, I proposed & they approved, applying for this DNA project. Consequently, myself & one of their family members have started the process.
