Project Goals
The purpose of the Van Horne yDNA Project is to identify the genetic lines of the three immigrants to New Netherlands, as well as the genetic lines of all the Van Horne families who came after them.
Once the genetic lines have been established, we hope to build a sufficient database, so that in the future we will be able to tell a project participant which line is his family, without benefit of a paper pedigree
