About us

We are in the early stages of our research and still compiling data. We believe we have determined the male Trigger surname DNA as being the results of test# 15686, but cannot be absolutely certain at this time. We need more DNA samples from other known lines to test and to do comparisons with.

OTHER PROJECTS:
We do have descendants within our data bank with the Trigger surname given through a maternal line (test #'s 15687, 13289 & 13290) who obviously, do not carry the Y chromosome of the male Trigger DNA. They have been "rumored" to have been of a surname line, whose descendant's DNA (test #'s 13291 & 19751) we collected for comparison. Results of these comparisons strongly suggest this rumor to have been false. We keep the DNA of the maternal Trigger surname in our data base by chance a match within Family Tree's data bank will occur, thereby identifying their paternal DNA & surname from which they do descend. The "rumored" line we have left in our group data bank in case a future DNA sample from one our lines does match with them. This is a possibility considering generations of both families have lived in close proximity and have married within each other's lines. This explains some of the variations in the DNA mapping that appears on the chart (we are withholding these names for privacy).
