My husband's name is George Wilmar Wambaugh, Jr. and we were born and raised in Baltimore. We have researched his relatives in York, PA for several years and hope to look at the Y-DNA of other Wambaugh males. Through this study, we hope to search for the most common male Y-DNA ancestor for this rare surname. WAMBAUGH, WAM/NBOUGH, WAM/NBACH/K, WAMBOLD and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project.
