This project presents an attempt to identify Paternal (Y-DNA) matches to the descendants of Mathias Santken, b. c. 1550, Antwerp (or possibly Denmark or Germany). He is the grandfather of Mathias Santken (Sension) immigrant ancestor of the Colonial St. Johns emanating from Dorchester, Ma./Norwalk, Ct.. We are widening the margins in an effort to further understand the ontology of the name,its' ultimate derivation, and to locate potential genetic family members.
