Background
This Project began after I met a gentleman by the surname of Schieberl in Bavaria, Germany. We had first found each other on the Internet! He was born and grew up in the same part of Bohemia, today The Czech Republic, that I believe my American Schieberl family was from. We decided to establish this site not only to compare our DNA but to determine if all Schieberls are ultimately descended from the same Schieberl grandfather or if we are several unrelated families.
