Project Surnames
Bacca, Mikovsky, Salinas, Saline, Savilaakso, Selin, Tiala
Project Background
We are interested in the Saline family from OULU Finland. This would include any Saline, Selin or derivative spellings and the original Savilaakso surname.
One of our project members told me the Finnish surname of the Savilaakso family prior to their moving to the farm of that name was SAARALA. So that is s new surname of interest for us...and probably an alternate spelling of SAARELA.
