This project started out as a Y-chromosome DNA project. But with the addition of the Mitochondrial (mtDNA) test and the Autosomal (atDNA - Family Finder) test, we welcome participants who have taken any or all of these DNA tests in the Snuggs DNA Project.
Snuggs descendants from anywhere in the world are encouraged to participate.

If you are a male with the Snuggs surname, please take the Big Y test or the 111 Marker Y-STR test.
All other Snuggs descendants will take the Family Finder and/or Mitochondrial DNA test.
