This R1b1 (xP297) project is designed for people who are R1b1 (that is, who are P25+) but who are not R1b1a (that is, who are not P297+ or M73+ or M269+).

At FTDNA, this currently (as of 2011) means that your haplogroup should either predicted or confirmed to be R1b1*, R1b1b, or R1b1c.
