This is a Walk Through the Y Project approved by FTDNA scientist Thomas Krahn, to provide participants with the opportunity to be involved in original scientific research. The effort to discover new SNPs may enable this large haplogroup to split into further subclades, with more regional specificity and a better understanding of migration paths and lines of descent. It also may result in greater understanding of the null 425 cluster, and has the potential to split the cluster into further subclades, as well.
