Project Goals
(i) Identify y-chromosome signatures for the different Quinn septs
(ii) Determine whether any of these Septs share common origins
(iii) Determine whether any Quinn septs share a common origin with other Irish septs
(iv) In the long term, assist those who cannot identify their Irish ancestors through lack of documentation by identifying their Sept and most probable location in ancient Ireland.
