Project Goals
A. To find common ancestor(s) among the separate branches of Pittman, Pitman, Pittmon families in the United States. Our research typically covers Pit(t)ma(o)ns of English origin who came to this country and settled in the Atlantic seaboard states.
B. To find a direct bloodline / male descendant (i.e. a son, of a son, of a son, etc.) of each major distinct Pit(t)ma(o)n family branch in the American colonies between 1620 & 1760.
C. To connect with English / Australian Pit(t)ma(o)n researchers.
D. To build a network of Pit(t)ma(o)n researchers.
