S25, S26, S28, and S29;
18 new Y-STRs with EA; and
4 new Y-STRs with DNA-FP.
(Several DNA-FP Y-STRs have
already been tested.)
RESOLVING THE MUTATION--
1st Cousin of #25683, i.e.
#29055 has DYS 439 = 12 (Ozment modal)
WHEREAS--
#25683 / #21791 (father / son) have
DYS 439 = 11
THUS, the mutation began either with
#25683 -OR- his father.
His father's brother was Ozment modal,
because said uncle's son (#29055)
was Ozment modal.
THIS PLACES THIS BRANCH ON PAR
WITH THAT OF THE OTHER BRANCHES
REPRESENTED BY THE TEST PANEL, i.e. 97.28% = 100-200 years (4-8 generations),
except #21857 with a DYS 576 mutation:
74.38% = 175-275 years (7-11 generations);
94.07% = 275-375 years (11-15 generations).
