Moscato, Moscati, Moscat, Muscat, Muskat families (all variations on the Moscato name) are encouraged to participate in this surname project which began in April 2004. Our Moscato branch immigrated from Cerasi, Italy to the U.S. in the 1890s. Though we have been able to trace our lineage back to the 1700s in Italy, there are still some gaps for which we probably will not find a paper trail.
