McAlister DNA Project - News

We would like to introduce you to our new Co-Administrator of the Family Tree DNA McAlister Project, Nancy Hudson.  Nancy, like many of you, is a big supporter of the McAlister Project.  She is a life member of CMA and the Line Coordinator for the A09 ancestral line, Alexander McAlister.  Nancy will be a big help as she settles into the FTDNA routine and we can divide some of our duties. 

Please log on to your FTDNA personal page and take the Inactive Tour.  Click on the Show Me links as you continue through the links of the Next Topics.

As you tour through your FTDNA pages, we would like to point out two important items that need your attention.

1. The Beneficiary Information - link is located under" My Account" on the Menu Bar.  Please take the time to fill out the beneficiary Information.  We have some Project members that have died or abandoned there DNA kits and results.

2. The Match and E-mail Settings - link is located under "My Account" on the Menu Bar.

Please set your Y-DNA Matches and E-mail Notification to ( Only in My Projects).  The setting  for (All Matches) is available with the use of your filters by selection of Entire Database at Matches or Advance Matching under" Y-DNA" on the menu Bar.
