Born @1663, Benjamin signed by mark an agreement of indenture to a London merchant on May 8, 1684 when he was 21 years old. After working on a plantation in Barbados for 4 years, Benjamin Maple settled in/near a Quaker community in the colony of New Jersey in 1688 or 1689.
