Project Background
This project was begun in October 2005, after much personal contimplation. I believe this project will be an invaluable tool for breaking through some genealogical walls and will assist us in determing where the majority of Loftin's originated from and how the variations of the spelling are related.
Even though there are several variations of the surname throughout the world and the origin has been the subject of some debate, DNA goes beyond Surnames to a period in time when there were none.
