Please join us in an exciting new initiative to attempt to identify connections between Leidesdorf families from all over the world! There have been multiple prominent individuals throughout time and around the world with the surname of Leidesdorf or a close spelling of it. Information about many of the individuals can be found at: www.leidesdorf.com. While genealogical research has enabled multiple family trees to be constructed dating back as far as the 1600s and in many cases have enabled linkages between families with different spellings and geographical backgrounds, there is still uncertainty if and/or how several of the main branches of the trees are connected. Some of the families being researched include but are not limited to the following:

• Leidersdorff - Germany
• Leidesdorf - Austria-Hungary, Prussia (Germany), Slovakia
• Leidesdorff - Denmark
• Leitersdorf - Israel, Austria-Hungary
• Leitersdorf - Germany
• Leydesdorf - Netherlands
