Feb 2009 - this project began in October 2003, and has now grown to almost 125 members. Through the project, we've been able to link some researchers together, with DNA testing allowing them to further explore family links with paper research. We've also dispelled many of the "I am related to the Lees of VA" comments - something our own families have believed in for years, and yet DNA testing was able to show that the probability of any blood-line match was almost 0%.
