Project Goals
To determine whether there is a common ancestor on the Island of Jersey in the Channel Islands of those carrying the surname Le Masurier and its variants: LeMasurier, LeMazurier, Lemasurier, Masurier.
Genetic matches of 36 or more markers, with proven Jersey origns but other surnames are of interest.
This project is not studying the similar surnames from Guernsey and the other Channel Islands, such as LeMesurier, LeMessurier.
