Kozsan and Kozan Surname Project- Background

Background

This project began to test whether two Kozsan families (one from Bukovina and the other from Northwestern Hungary)have a common ancestor.

This proved not to be the case, as one was Haplogroup R1a, and the other, I1a.

Later, we tested another Bukovina Kozsan, who did not match either of them (he's haplogroup I1b).
