Project Background
Be it Kirwin, Kirwan, Kerwin or other spellings, ancestrally, we likely spent time on the Emerald Isle. Many Kirwins in the USA descend from famine survivors while others arrived at the beginning of the the 20th century or earlier. In Ireland, our roots seem to center mainly in Galway, Leith, Dublin or Limerick.
