If your (male) kit is Ungrouped, and you know of another member with whom you have a YDNA match, contact the administrator. If you are already in one of the subgroups with a caption on some colored background, you should (while signed in to your FTDNA account) select YDNA Results, Colorized (rather than Classic). The colors there can highlight subtle differences in the STR signatures even of rather close genetic relatives
