By joining a surname or other DNA project you will receive [online], your own personal log-in page and access to the FTDNA matches from a database and have your own personal results page - among other services. You do not have to be related to the Kiely family in any way, or have your DNA results used as participatory results for the sake of this project - as the project research is basically complete - and this will not affect your joining this project.
