Jumper FamilyTree DNA Project

Project News

A veteran genealogical researcher whose direct line of descent connects him to the New England Jumper's has joined our Jumper Family DNA Project. Welcome aboard! Our newest member had to put his research on hold a few years ago when his wife's declining health required him to take on a new roll; he would become his wife's full time care-giver, 24-7. Unlike some of us mortals, he never complains. Then, in a recent e-mail following his request for the mega-Y-67DNA Kit, he had these comments:

"Just thought I'd send you a note to say that I received the DNA kit yesterday PM and mailed the DNA samples this morning at the Post Office. Don't know how long it will take for the DNA analysis but hope the results show some promise for unifying the Southern, NE and PA Jumper lines. Warmest wishes to you and your family."

We told him he could expect FamilyTreeDNA to mail him his DNA results in a few weeks or about mid-March. Thanks for your interest and support [E].
