Background
This project assembles the results of all the members of the J1 Y-DNA haplogroup (M267) who are classified as J1*.
To be J1* you have to have tested negative for the M62, M365.1 and L136 SNPs as per the tree below

The value of DYS388 in J1*'s is generally 15 or less (with one exception who has a value of 16).
The tree below at ISOGG doesn't take into consideration all of the new SNP mutations discovered in the past year.
