- Goals
The immediate goals of this project are the creation of a collection of samples for a further definition of this group.
Acceptance to this group will be either by a positive result for L38/S154, L39/S155, L40/S156, or L65/S159, or by STR values that match the strong modality for this group. This would be DYS455 = 10 or 11, DYS454 = 12, and 19-19 at YCA.
For the long term goals it would be great to see the discovery of SNP's which would define the various sub-groups that are seen in the STR values.
