DNA study of the HATTON and HATTEN surname.We are also studying the origin of families from the Royal Forest of Dean, Gloucester, England and surrounding counties including the border area of Wales. Two "Hutton" matches found in Wales. Because of the matches with the Hutton surname and the use of Hatton and Hutton by various families we are interested in Hatton-Hatten and Hutton matches for the purpose of trying to sort out the relationship between some Hattons and Huttons families.
