All men with the Hasty Surname and variants (show) are welcome to join this project. No minimum # of markers are required (above 12) however 25 or 37 are encouraged for the long term. Initial findings show that the tested lines can be seperated by 12 marker testing, however. See the Y Results tab. All haplogroups assigned by Family Tree DNA are suitable for entry in the National Geographic project.
