This project started out in 2005 as a Y-chromosome DNA Project, which meant that only Hough/Huff/Hoff/Haugh males could take the test.
Now, the project encompasses all 3 DNA tests: Y-DNA, mtDNA and Family Finder (atDNA).
The project covers all of the various spellings of the Hough surname.
We encourage any Hough/Huff/Hoff/Haugh descendant from anywhere in the world to participate.
If you are a male with the Hough, etc. surname, please take the Big Y test or the 111 Marker Y-STR test.
