Welcome to the Finney DNA Project! Anyone with the surname of Finney or a variation of the name; Phinney, Finny, Finnie, is encouraged to join the Finney Project.

The Finney DNA Project began in September 2006 and was originally administered by Worldfamilies.net.  In October 2010 Billy Ray Watkins and Gerald Finney became co administrators of the project and in December 2010 Billy Ray and Gerald are now administrating the Finney DNA Project hosted by Family Tree DNA.  The Finney administrators would like to thank Terry Barton at Worldfamilies.net for all of his assistance with the project.
