Y-DNA & mtDNA Interests

I originally started this 'Y-DNA' project to get answers and results that could possibly bring insight to my paternal research. I'm looking forward to close Y-DNA matches resulting in paternal line discoveries, by means of interatction with other researchers with the same or similar goals.
Since then, I have also learned to appreciate my maternal ancestry. With the addition of my mtDNA results I am linking to other members that have tested their 'full-sequence mtDNA' and together we are discovering many areas where we can help each other trace our maternal lines and possibly find where our roots connect. Umberger Y-DNA: If you are a 'Umberger' and have already tested your Y-DNA, even if you do not want to join this project, I would love to compare Y-DNA results.
