EUNSON DNA PROJECT - Goals

Currently, there are 5 Eunson's participating in the project, 3 whose ancestry is traced back to Orkney and 2 from Fair Isle(Shetland Islands). It has been interesting to discover that the Eunson family has two distinct branches in the northern isles. The Fair Isle Eunson's, according to testing done by Dr. Jim Wilson, have determined that the Fair Isle Eunson's are U106/S21, while the Orkney Eunson's are L21/S145. My goal in this project is to determine the origins and history of the Eunson family, as well as to learm more about these two distinct branches
