Project Background
The ERBLAND surname project is designed to find genetic links between Erbland males world-wide. Because this project uses Y-DNA testing, females (who do not carry the Y chromosome) can only participate via a male surrogate who bears the Erbland surname. For example, the female could ask her father, brother or a known male cousin, who bears the Erbland surname, to get tested on her behalf.
