About us
Several of us in Western KY (Calloway, Marshall, McCracken counties) have had a brick wall to find out the father of "Peter Eggner" in NC. My idea to start this project was use DNA as another tool in getting past that brick wall.
Since there are several lines that have traced their roots back to 1600-1700's I am hoping with their help through their DNA results we will show a link to one of these.
Also there is a group of Egner's from Whitney County KY which is close enough to Western KY that one would think there would be a link between each other. I'm hoping DNA will show a Most Recent Common Ancestor, (MRCA).
All this lead me to get involved with DNA.
