When standing on the hill in Dungworth, from any direction, the beauty of the countryside is breathtaking. Nestling in the valley below is Dam Flask, surrounded by the patchwork green of fields and woods – the heart of the country. Ten minutes away by car is the Derbyshire Peak District, and yet it is only seven miles to the centre of Sheffield.
Dungworth is a small village with only 90 houses, and is connected by two lanes to the hamlet of Storrs, which has approximately 23 houses, so the population in this area is quite small.
