Background

The project now has about eleven participants. Three are descendants of Henry Doude (a Great Migration ancestor who left Kent for Guilford, CT in 1639), five with Irish roots, and three who are probably descended from brothers Howell and James Dawdy traced to 18th century NJ, also probably of Irish origin.

More participants are needed to confirm and compare these dna signatures. All O'Dowds, Douds, etc... are encouraged to join.
