Raw test results are given in tables accessed via the Y-DNA RESULTS and MTDNA RESULTS menus at the top of this page. Please note that, for convenience, these results are grouped on these tables by haplogroup subclade, but that being in the same haplogroup subclade does not necessarily mean these individuals are related in genealogical time. Their common ancestor may be thousands of years in the past. For test results grouped by family, please see the web pages linked below, which reside on the DanishDemes.org web site.

Y-DNA Test Results — mtDNA Test Results

The tables at the Danish Demes domain also include the test subject's lineage, when provided by the member. If you are a project member, and you have not submitted the lineage on your patrilineal or matrilineal line, please do so. Knowing just the earliest ancestor is not sufficient to make the best use of your test results.

In the results tables here on the FTDNA web site, only members tested at FTDNA are displayed. Members tested at other companies are displayed only on the DanishDemes.org site. Your project administrator encourages all members tested at other laboratories to order the FTDNA Conversion Kit to bring their marker panels and results into compliance with FTDNA standards and to enjoy the benefits of being entered in the database at FTDNA (e.g., automatic notification of matches).

On the distribution maps (see Y-DNA RESULTS and MTDNA RESULTS menus above), the balloons indicate the locations of the earliest known ancestors, not the locations of the members themselves.
