Background

Until recently Costa Rica has been a relatively isolated country from its beginnings until the not too distant past. It has been a country that has stood on it own as a country of peace and stability in a mist of surrounding countries of past political unrest. This project will study the genetic origins of the people of Costa Rica who make up the country of Pura Vida.
