4 December 2007: Project initiated.
8 December 2007: Kit 109013, A descendant of Jacob Christman (1711-1761) via Philip Christman joined the project and signed up for a 37 marker test.
20 December 2007: Kit 110062, A descendant of Heinrich Christman (c1706-1768) joined the project.
4 Jan 2008: Kit N58131, Dr. Christman of AZ, joins the project via transfer to FTDNA from the National Geographic Society Genographic Project. Research indicates he descends from the immigrant Jacob Christman, born 1706, of Virginia. His initial 12 markers match with descendants of the immigrant Michael Christman born 1726. It is possible that these 2 immigrants have a connection back in Germany.
9 Jan 2008: Kit N58131, ordered the 12-67 marker test. With these additional markers we should have a better idea on how the 2 immigrants are related.
