Chase Surname DNA Discussions and e-mail of the CHASE-L@rootsweb.com group often centered on which of the three early Chase settlers (Aquila, Thomas or William) the members descended from. These brave men were amongst the first settlers to come to America. Were these three men kin to each other? Where did they come from? Who were their ancestors? Other Chase families later came to America. Is there a connection between these Chase families? Some of these answers may never be known! With DNA testing we might, however, prove some of the following objectives: Do descendants of Aquila, Thomas, and William have similar DNA patterns--thus proving a common ancestor? If so, can we locate that person through DNA testing of additional Chase lines—maybe some that still live in England or those with proven ancestors who came to America at a later date? Do the descendants of other Chase Families match with Aquila, Thomas, or William?
