Those of the surname Carrow and Carew have traced their ancestors migration into Coastal regions of Colonial America between 1643 and 1678. They were coastal dwellers & seafarers and both the southern family(NC) and the more northern (DE,MD,VA) have strong ties to Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay.

Were they the same family and what is their ethnicity if it is a common one? Results show that the Carrow family members who have tested in NC and DE match exactly at 37 markers.
One Caroon family and one Carawan family seem related to each other with a GD of3.


The migration time suggests a link with English Civil War strife in England.
