The Cantabria DNA Project was launched on December 15, 2009.

This is a dual mtDNA and Y-DNA project that is open to the public.

For all interested in participating, please be willing to provide the following information:

*Which side your Cantabrian ancestry is derived from.

*Your Current location (can either be national or continental).

*Geographic location of your earliest known (Cantabrian) relative (can either be national or continental).

*The surname of your earliest known (Cantabrian) relative
