The Cannon Surname Y-DNA was started in April of 2003. As of April 3, 2009 we have 67 Cannon Surname Y-DNA participants in the project and 4(female) mtDNA participants (ten of the men have also done the mtDNA test/tests which is an option but not a part of the Surname study).
