Project Goals
(1) Recruit as many donors as we can. Everybody is welcome to help recruit new members.
(2) Maintain privacy in accord with each participant's wishes.
(3) Record each donor's lineage within this website to enable other researchers/distant cousins to find such lines and make contact with the Group Administrator who in turn will pass their email address to the participant. It will be the prerogative of the donor/ participant/ sponsor whether or not to email back. It will also be the prerogative of the donor whether his entire lineage will be shown on this website.
(3) Keep each participant informed regarding their test progress and later as to any matches with other participants in accord with their privacy wishes.
(4) Establish various lines of descent via Y-DNA test results.
(5) Keep the group informed about overall progress but maintain privacy to those who wish it.
(6) Maintain the General Donation Fund for this surname project and distribute such funds in accordance with the wishes of the persons donating such funds.
