British Isles DNA Project by County
- News
7 April 2012: We are making progress in grouping the mtDNA results by County (where known) or by Haplogroup (where County is unknown, or where the earliest known maternal ancestor is not of British origin).
Results are still incomplete, but the remaining Ungrouped tests now all belong to Haplogroup H. These will shortly be added to the Haplogroup H group, but there were so many of these that there have been technical difficulties in getting the group formed properly. Please note that at present a haplogroup H test for non-county data might be in either of these places: Haplogroup H, or Ungrouped. This should be fixed in a day or so.
