Project Goals
This project intends to foster research of this haplogroup by accomplishing the following goals: identify members of the B haplogroup, as well as their genetic and characteristic similarities; the current geographic distribution of B y-chromes; and identify the genetic commonality between members of haplogroup B and members of other haplogroups.
Members of all y-chromosome, haplogroups with an interest in pursuing these goals are welcome to join. We encourage a greater understanding of the peculiarities that connect us others.
