Background

This project is open to all surname BICKERSTAFFs, BIGGERSTAFFs, BICKERSTETHs, and all other variations of the name. Through Y-DNA it is possible to determine family groups. Y-DNA is a MALE only club and the participant must still carry the surname.

There is much information on the Family Tree DNA site for you to read. The male Y-DNA doesn't change for thousands of years, which is what makes this Project possible.
