Project Background
The members of this proejct mathc the modal, or most common set of markers defining the so called Ashkenazi-Levite Modal haplotype found amoung 52% of men who claim to be Levites in European Jewish populations. A goal of this proejct will be to see how widespread the members are, geographcially and whether men who are of Jewish, but not of Ashkenazi background match this signature.
