Project Goals
Many Arnett/Arnott researchers have had difficulty connecting the various Arnett/Arnott families in America before 1790 (the year of the first U.S. census). We have also found it difficult to connect with our cousins on the other side of the ocean. We hope that with DNA evidence we can shore up suspected links between our families. We also hope that we can find a genitic link to Arnetts/Arnotts in the Brittish Isles, where we suspect our ancestors to have come from. If we can make a genitic connection with families in Europe, it will make it much easier to reserch back on those lines to find our probable immigrant to America.
